1. Introduction
Thirty or Nothing (the “App”) is a personal journaling app. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the safeguards we apply. “We”, “our”, and “us” refer to Cob App.
2. Information We Collect
a) Contact (Support)
If you email us at cob.support@cob-app.com, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use this information only to respond and improve the App.
b) Journal Content (On-Device / iCloud / Exports)
- What you create: Journal entries, titles, timestamps, reminder schedules, and optional image attachments you choose to add.
- Where it’s stored: Your content is stored on your device. If you enable iCloud, it may sync via Apple iCloud (CloudKit) under your Apple ID. When you export data, files are saved to the Files app on your device.
- No developer servers: We do not store your journal content on our own servers.
- No model training / no sale: Your content is not used to train AI models and is not sold.
c) Advertising (AdMob)
We use Google AdMob to show ads. AdMob may collect information such as device identifiers (e.g., advertising identifier if available), IP address, coarse location, app events, and ad interaction data to deliver, limit, and measure ads. Personalized ads are enabled. You can manage ad personalization and reset your device’s advertising identifier in iOS settings.
d) Notifications
The App supports reminders/notifications you schedule. Notification data is handled on your device; we do not collect notification content.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide core features (create, edit, locally store your journal; optional iCloud sync; data export).
- Display and measure ads via AdMob.
- Respond to your support requests and improve the App.

5. Data Storage & Security
- In transit: Network communications (e.g., iCloud, AdMob) use HTTPS/TLS.
- At rest: On-device data is stored in the iOS app sandbox. iCloud data is protected by Apple’s encryption at rest.
- App Lock: You can enable an in-app lock (passcode/biometrics) to help protect local access.
6. Your Choices & Controls
- In-app: Create, edit, delete your entries and attachments; export your data to the Files app.
- System settings: Manage notifications; limit/reset advertising identifier; adjust ad personalization preferences.
- Support requests: Contact cob.support@cob-app.com for requests we cannot support in-app.
7. Data Retention
- Journal content: Kept on your device and/or in your iCloud account until you delete it (and, if applicable, until removed from backups per your Apple settings).
- Support emails: Retained only as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period for internal accountability; no fixed retention period is set.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from such users.
9. International Data Transfers
AdMob and iCloud may process data on servers located outside your country. Their protections and safeguards apply according to their respective policies.
10. Device Permissions
- Photos (image attachments): The App uses the iOS system photo picker (PHPicker). We receive only the items you select; the App does not request blanket Photos Library access.
- No camera / microphone / precise location permissions are requested.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated in-app or via another appropriate channel. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
